My sole selection from Wolverhampton falls in the last race at the Midlands venue where the sole course and distance winner STAR ASCENDING looks primed for a bold showing. His form of late has been up and down to say the least but after a mixed bag of performances he’s now got a very attractive official rating. He finds himself 10lbs below his last winning mark and he stays in Class 6 company. The yard also seem to be going well with two winners from their last seven runners and he has every chance in what looks a pretty poor race.
