RASCAL TO RUN RIOT FOR RYAN

Ventura Rascal has raced five times this season and has posted two wins and two solid placed efforts from the five, winning at Pontefract over a mile in April and over seven furlongs at Catterick when last seen. Kevin Stott was in the saddle for both those victories and overall is unbeaten in three when riding the Kevin Ryan four year old. The opposition arrive here either looking exposed or out of form so this looks to be a great opportunity for another victory.

Should our selection fail to fire, the most likely to benefit would be Gweedore who has done all his winning over seven furlongs but one of those came here at Ayr and he has come close on a couple of occasions over this trip so rates the main danger, while King Of Tonga showed signs of improvement when third at Redcar last month and is potentially well treated on the best of his old form so is also considered.
