The final race on the card from Catterick sees the ever consistent Wotabreeze aim to bag another course and distance victory. He rarely runs a bad race and as such is a definite danger. I just hope he’s carrying a little too much weight to find the winners enclosure and only a minor role is on the cards.
Of the rest of eight competitors there’s two fellow course and distance winners. Bottom weight Fillydelphia deserves an honourable mention based on her recent second placed finish here at Catterick but it’s actually the other course victor King Of The Celts. Hailing from the Tim Easterby yard he’ll be ready to go and unlike his rivals he’s been lightly raced this year so he’ll be fitter than most. A more encouraging run last time out shows he’s getting close to his best and with decent course form to his name (off much lower weights) expect a more improved effort to put his fifteen race losing streak behind him.
