We step foot onto an all-weather surface for today’s NAP as we pinpoint Avon Green at Wolverhampton as our best bet of the day.As the jockey’s championship hots up with Oisin Murphy and Danny Tudhope going head to head to claim this years crown any horse either jockey climbs aboard need to be respected.The course and distance victor Avon Green returns to the scene of his last success which was also the last time that Murphy climbed aboard the horse way back in January 2018. Now coming back to Wolverhampton with 12lbs less weight to carry he has a fantastic opportunity to return to the winners enclosure especially after an encouraging third placed effort at Lingfield.
Fellow course winner Arnoul Of Metz also returns to the scene of his former success and has a good opportunity to add to his win column. He’s by far the biggest threat to our selection and although it is perhaps a bit naive to dismiss the rest of the field too readily it’s these two runners that look the stand out in this the third race on the card.
