An amazing looking card from Newcastle this evening with some top class handicaps lined up. We’re aiming to tackle one of these competitive handicaps with the third race on the card.
Seven horses are booked to lineup and although it may seem like an odd move we’re tipping a horse that hasn’t won in his last twelve starts. Dragon Mall has contested group races and has placed in some top quality events. It’s interesting to note that he hasn’t won on turf but has really good form on the all weather. A return to an artificial surface in a race that looks far less competitive than he’s been facing and this could be a race for him to get his head back in front despite a long absence.
Heavens Guest returned to form with a very encouraging second placed finish here at Newcastle last month. A repeat performance from the veteran should put him well and truly in the mix especially for a trainer who is on fire at the moment with five winners in the past fortnight.
Of the remainder Swift Approval could go close if putting his best foot forward but sadly his lack of consistency makes him hard to catch right for punters.
