As we progress further towards the end of the year and enter the colder months national hunt racing starts to take president in the minds of most racing fans. Hardly a top class contest we head to Southwell for a low grade chase where Deise Vu aims to retain his crown after winning this race last year. With just one pound more weight to carry and after an encouraging second placed effort last time he looks primed and ready to grab another course success.
Fellow course and distance winner Stormbay Bomber looks a very obvious danger and with his only chase successes coming at this venue he makes tonnes of appeal but not enough to side against Deise Vu.
