The recent rain has caused havoc with scheduled meetings of late so with that in mind, perhaps a punt on the all weather looks the way forwards. Alan King has had a very quiet time of things of late and his Festival runners were, in the main, disappinting. With Aintree around the corner you suspect his yard will turn the corner quickly and he sent out a well punted type on the artificial surfaces the other day that ran with credit. City Dreamer represents King today and his recent 2nd at Lingfield reads well in the context of this, down 2lbs from that run you would have to be a little disappointed if he lost and as such he gets the vote. Rock N Gold won nicely at Wolverhampton theast day and looks the biggest threat, his penalty for that asks a question however and his profile hardly screams at him following up.
