Midnightly has won two from three over course and distance and arrives here in great form having won his last two, beating a subsequent winner in Something Lucky on both occasions. He has been given a 4lbs rise but has a great draw in stall 1 to be able to attack from the front and with the majority of his rivals having something to prove he is taken to notch the hat-trick.
Awesome Allan has been creeping up the weights despite not winning and has already raced nine times this year so his disappointing effort when tenth of ten last time out suggests he could do with a break so the bigger danger looks to be Raffle King who has placed in all four previous runs on an all-weather surface and could improve for the switch in stables.
Of the remainder, Powerful Dream has made the frame in six from ten over track and trip but needs to step up on recent runs if he is to figure today.
