Morney Wing has a point to prove having refused to race last time out, although won on only previous visit to Plumpton and has the services of Paddy Brennan in the saddle, a jockey with an excellent strike rate at the course.
Themanfrom Minella brings decent form in to the race, having placed on penultimate run before winning last time out, although has to carry an extra 8lbs today which will undoubtedly make things tougher.
Frank N Fair won twice over course and distance in December and although she didn’t quite make it home in heavy ground over a couple of furlongs further when last seen she was racing from 5lbs out of the handicap and still managed a respectable third. Back down in trip and racing off her true mark she has a great chance of victory today.
