Meshardal has an excellent record over course and distance, posting four victories and two seconds from seven runs. He is re-united with Jack Garrity who won on only previous ride on the eight-year-old and has dropped back to his last winning mark so looks to have a great chance of going one better than when second in this race last year.
It Must Be Faith carries a 6lbs penalty for victory last time out, his first win on turf since 2014, but has also won twice over today’s trip on the all-weather in the last couple of months so arrives in top form and looks to be the obvious danger.
B Fifty Two struggled to cope with a 5lbs rise last time out so Apricot Sky, who has made the frame in three from four at the course, looks to be the best of the rest.
