Coo Star Sivola was heavily backed at Cheltenham last time on trials day and though his ultimate defeat was rather disappointing there were clear excuses for it. Ridden patiently by Lizzie Kelly that day and very wide throughout it was hardly surprising he emptied at the bottom of the hill, whatever you make of the ride or the performance he left a clear impression and he ought to be winning off this kind of mark very soon. Pure Vision is hard to weigh up over fences despite being one from three, his jumping can cause concern but he is likely to improve and couldn’t be dismissed out of hand. Walt has been dropped 3lbs since his last run and is another to consider, generally consistent he too warrants respect. Ice Cool Champs has Johnson on top and looks another possible improver but providing he gets the trip and that Lizzie Kelly takes a normal course, Coo Star Sivola gets the vote.
