PADDOCKS PATENT (TUESDAY)

14:35 Bath

We start our day’s previews with what’s looks a wide open handicap over five furlongs.

Princess Tansy is raised seven pounds for her comfortable victory at Newmarket three weeks ago and she may be still fairly treated but a couple of others look stronger.

You’re My Cracker has only been out the top three once in her nine starts and was only just beaten by a neck over course and distance two weeks ago; she’s only a pound higher here for this today and there looks more to come from this filly.

Lead A Merry Dance shot up the weights after winning a around here back in May but that’s not stopped her placing on both occasions since; she should relish the drop back in trip today and with her jockey’s claim another positive she gets the vote to get back to winning ways.

Free To Love is another worth noting as she made all to win over course and distance last time out and a three pound penalty looks very lenient and it will be no surprise if she is in the mix again today.

15:25 Beverley

We head to Beverley for our second preview for another five furlong handicap.

On paper this might not look a very exciting race but there is one here that looks very overpriced and is worth taking a chance on. Incomparable is the only one in the field with any recent winning form which came over course and distance last month; he had four of these behind on that occasions and even though he’s a lot older then all his other competitors he should be able to repeat that form again today.

Beauty’s Forte is probably the biggest danger to the selection as he was only a couple of lengths behind the selection in fifth that day and was keeping on well in the final stages to maybe show he could progress here today.

Belle Nellie is down to what looks a winning mark for her and is fitted with a visor for the first time which may help after she led for a long time last time out and seemed to lose focus in the final furlong.

Incomparable (E/W)

19:40 Thirsk

We go to Thirsk for our final preview a twelve furlong handicap.

Tamayuz Magic was just out paced in the final furlong when sent off favourite last time out and will probably be the favourite again today after that run but he may just find a couple of these too good again.

Annedh and Pin Up can’t be ignored, the former finished a credible second last time out and may have more to give but the latter has a long absence to overcome and may just need this today.

Duke Of Yorkshire was disqualified last time out where he seemed to ignore the jockey and run everywhere but straight, before that he’d been knocking on the door and looked a huge contender for his last race; he’s now back with his regular jockey who should be able to keep a tighter grip on him and could take all the beating if settled.

Duke Of Yorkshire (E/W) if 9/2+
