14:25 Aintree Black Op was an excellent second to Samcro in the Ballymore at Cheltenham. Prior to that he was less than a length behind yesterdays’ Sefton Novice Hurdle winner Santini and a run to either of those levels would probably be good enough to win most renewals of this race. That said, his stable arrives here struggling for winners whereas Nicky Henderson has his string in fine order and runs On The Blind Side who has been more impressive with each run, is unbeaten i

TV TIPS (SATURDAY) – AINTREE FESTIVAL DAY 3 – GRAND NATIONAL

14:25 Aintree The trio of Robbie Power, Colin Tizzard and the Potts family have been on fire over the past 48 hours at Aintree and it doesn’t look set to change here on day three. The well fancied and well talked about Finian’s Oscar arrives here undefeated after skipping the Cheltenham Festival. Despite a slight injury setback he’ll be fresher than most of his rivals and looks by far the one to beat. I was massively impressed with the way that six year old grey Brio Conti

    SUNDAY WEEKENDER

15:05 Leopardstown There’s some fantastic racing in Ireland today and it’d be criminal not to cover the showpiece race of the day. The action from Leopardstown looks set to be another prep for some of Willie Mullins’ super stars and its no exception as he saddles three of the five runners here. Nichols Canyon got the better of Champion Hurdle winner Faugheen when they met earlier in the season but the eight year old will no doubt strip fitter for that run. A return to winning
