Dove Mountain was a dual winner on the flat and seems to have transferred that ability over to these smaller obstacles. He has been placed twice since going hurdling including when runner up to Supreme Vinnie over this course and distance last time. Jack Kennedy is once again in the saddle and with a bit more experience under his belt he can finally set about shedding his maiden status in this sphere.
Long Journey Home boasts similar credentials to the selection in that he too was placed over this course and distance last time. He is a bit more exposed than Dove Mountain though and may prove more vulnerable against his younger rival. Kansas Kid was staying on through beaten rivals when making his hurdling debut at Listowel last time. That was an eye catching performance and he is taken to build on it this evening. With Roger Loughran booked to ride, the combination look set to have solid each way claims.
Gordon Elliott has been sending out winners for fun in recent weeks and it wouldn’t take Dove Mountain to show an awful lot of improvement in order to get involved here. With the yard in excellent form he has to rate high on any shortlist and he ought to prove tough to beat.
DOVE MOUNTAIN (WIN)

Sir Roderic loves nothing more than to get his toe in so conditions at Windsor this evening should be in his favour. He has performed with credit in his last few runs going down by less than a length at Leicester a month ago. Freddie Tylicki is the only jockey to have won on this three year old and one of those wins came over this course and distance back in April.
House Of Commons makes his handicap debut this evening having made a successful reappearance at Ripon earlier this month. He is still very much unexposed and could well be open to amount of further improvement. Jamie Spencer rides for Fitri Hay and the duo ought to have a big say in the outcome of this race. Medburn Dream was in excellent form at the beginning of the season. He notched up a hat trick of wins including once over this course and distance. The company at Epsom last time may have been a bit too hot to handle but he commands respect back at this level.
Sir Roderic will appreciate the return to this track and the more rain that falls, the better are his chances. Rod Millman has his team in good shape and has notched up four wins from limited resources in the last few weeks. He has to rank high on any shortlist this evening.

Conduct Yourself has been ultra impressive in both of her starts so far this season as proven when running away with similar events at Tramore and Killarney. Unlike a few of these rivals she arrives in excellent form and is taken to continue her progression despite a career high mark. Brian Hayes has built up a formidable relationship with the six year old and the duo ought to make another bold bid this evening.
Dandridge brings the best form to the table following excellent runs in chases at both Cheltenham and Aintree. This is nowhere near as competitive but this is a reversion to hurdles and he does have to overcome a near two month absence. If at peak fitness, he looks to be the biggest danger. Princely Conn has never shown any inclination that he needs a trip as far as this and his stamina will be called into question. If the rains were to descend Kylecrue would look a massive price. He stays much further than this and with every ounce of rain that falls his chances will increase.
Conduct Yourself is taken to continue on an upward curve for trainer John Kiely and she is likely to make her presence felt against her male counterparts.
