The lightly raced MY OBERON finished a very solid second in a Group 3 race at Haydock last time out. That was on soft ground so won’t be inconvenienced by today’s conditions. This looks a much weaker race now dropped to listed level. Has room to grow with just four career starts to their name. The yard of William Haggas is on fire and 11/8 is starting to look a generous price.

A very very tough race to call is this cavalry charge of two year olds in the William Hill Two Year Old Trophy.
A case can be easily made for plenty of the runners. Of the more fancied runners both Spright and Uncle Jumbo look likely to play a part but I’m going to throw out a duo of horses that could go well at a price.
The first horse that gets a mention is a horse who’s appeared in our 60 Flat Horses To Follow publication. DIGITAL has been super consistent this term and has a victory on soft going to boot. Represents an in-form yard and can go well.
The other that’s capable of a solid performance at a big price also holds winning form on soft ground is EY UP IT’S MAGGIE carrying a small weight and was thought highly enough of to compete at Group 3 level last time out. This is obviously very tough but can certainly sneak a place.
