HIGH HOPES FOR HAGGAS HORSE IN INTERNATIONAL

15:00 Ascot

Current market leader Motakhayyel was a solid winner at Newmarket last time out however despite the handicappers hefty imminent rise in weight it’ll be tough to see the five year old claim back to back handicap victories.

With a few renewing their rivalry from the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot this looks a very hotly contested handicap back at the same venue.

Danyah and Aldaary finished 2nd and 5th in the aforementioned contest however I expect a reverse in form now off these differing ratings. With the weight now in the three year olds favour I think the Haggas trainer runner has what it takes to turn the tides. With an allowance for his age, the yard in blistering form and his continued upward trajectory he looks worthy of a sizeable each way punt.

The likes of Dance Fever and Shine So Bright could go well at bigger odds and have enough in their respective lockers to spring a shock however it’s Tom Marquand’s mount that gets my casting vote.
