EXCLUSIVE SELECTION (MONDAY)

16:10 Pontefract This has to be described as a good chance for Star Catch to shed her maiden tag, heavily supported on debut at Bath she rather disappointed and trailed in a well beaten sixth. Again well supported when making her second racecourse appearance at Haydock she found one too good though that form has subsequently been bolstered and this represents a gilt edged chance. Black Isle Boy showed a fair amount of promise on his debut and comes from a yard who’s horses tend to come on from their debuts, he must be respected but perhaps handicapping will be his thing. Hitchcock must have shown a fair amount of promise at home and was sent off an odds on shot on his debut at Newcastle, well related he will surely pick up a maiden before long but he must prove as good on grass as the artificial surfaces. Undiscovered Angel has twice shown enough ability to warrant respect, she could take some catching if getting an easy lead though there are some speedy pedigrees amongst this bunch. Market moves for either Noble Sword or Snow Excuse would be encouraging and both are related to winners, Charles Hills has his string firing however and as such the nod is given to Star Catch.
