ASDAA THE RIGHT PRICE TO GO WELL AT CHELMSFORD

18:00 Chelmsford

Mark Johnstone’s charge is far from prolific having not won in his last eight starts. That being said he returned to action and claimed an encouraging third at Newmarket in a Class 3 contest back in the summer. ASDAA showed more in an all-weather race at Wolverhampton last time out and returning to a venue he has a 100% strike rate at and now back to his last winning mark he’s capable of going very close.

A horse that could go very well at a big price has shown very little in their last three starts but HIDDEN PEARL claimed a third and a second in her two starts prior. That third placed finish came here at Chelmsford over a similar trip and with more weight on her back. She may be a fifteen race maiden but she’s worth taking a chance on now she’s back at a course she’s never finished out of the top three at.

The third and final selection on tonight’s Chelmsford card may be an obvious one but in general I do often look out for Godolphin owned runners here at the Essex based track so a Godolphin owned horse ridden by Oisin Murphy certainly makes my ears prick up. BRIGHT START may yet to have won a race but representing such big connections he deserves the upmost respect. Although he is still a maiden he has been ultra consistent so far this term and having now been gelded that could be the change needed to finally see his head in front. The one to be on.
