Aaron Lad makes his UK debut for the shrewd Dr Richard Newland here and all eyes will likely be on how strong he is in the betting, twice second when trained in Ireland he wouldn’t have to be anything special to make a winning start to life over here and respect is afforded. The Devils Drop ran well for a long way on his hurdling debut earlier in the month and is interesting should he improve on that, from the King yard you would expect significant improvement and he will likely strip fitter today. Linenhall showed a lovely attitude when battling back to beat another promising King trained type at Stratford a few weeks back and his chance is crystal clear, despite having to concede weight all round he looks to have plenty of room for improvement and as such, he is taken to follow up.
