Achill Road Boy has two career victories to his name, both gained in testing conditions, both in this class and both over similar trips to what he encounters here today. He ran well for a long way last time out before tiring a couple of furlongs from home so will appreciate the drop back from three miles and looks to have been given a chance from the handicapper having dropped from a mark of 102 to 99.
Olly Murphy and Richard Johnson team up with a couple of likely types at Fakenham today and although their runner Wood Pigeon hasn’t won since a point-to-point a couple of years back he could be a danger if putting in a clear round of jumping.
Wish In A Well hasn’t won in twelve months but put in a much improved performance when second last time out and as a previous course and distance winner is respected accordingly.
