EXCLUSIVE TIP (FRIDAY)

14:25 KEMPTON

Modus arrives here on the back of an unseat at Exeter where it was probably too early to figure whether he would have won, prior to that he had been fairly impressive over fences. Frormerly very useful over hurdles you suspect Paul Nicholls charge has plenty left in the thank in this sphere and he was a very useful hurdler, despite this he has offered little value in betting terms since chasing on there are a few interesting types in opposition here. King’s Socks was good enough to get within a couple of lengths of Footpad when last seen in his native France, off since then it is obviously concerning as to whether he will need this but David Pipe has a very good record with similar types and his French form is fairly solid at this level. Overtown Express is infuriating and often fails to find as much as he promises to when asked, form-wise he looks to have decent prospects against a few of these and when he did win a few starts back he was very impressive. Max Ward looks up against it on his current form and so with a heavy heart and with the healthiest level of respect afforded, Modus is taken on with King’s Socks who in all probability is the most interesting runner on the entire card.
