Mersey Novices' Hurdle

Let's hopefully get everyone off to a flyer on the ITV races on Grand National Day following on from Jonbon yesterday. I will go for a horse that ran behind the said Jonbon at Haydock in January, Might I who side-stepped Cheltenham and comes here fresh. After winning on his hurdles debut, he actually went off favourite at Sandown when attempting to give a penalty and a beating to Constitution Hill but he could not quite understandably live with that rival. On the official figures he has something to find but I can see him being involved come the finish.

Walking On Air is a very interesting contender though and the only concern for me is his lack of experience but he will have a big future I am sure as Nicky Henderson was amazed when he was beaten on debut, that was by the sadly ill-fated Shallwehaveonemore.
