Bicep improved for the step up to seven furlongs when winning over course and distance last week and although carries a 6lbs penalty for that success has previously gone close off similar marks so looks capable of further progression given he’s unexposed over the trip.
Jilly Cooper was also a winner last time out however that came on the all-weather and although she’s gone close in prior turf runs over this trip all these have come off lower marks so the 6lbs penalty she carries will likely make things tougher here.
Gometra Ginty and Muntadab are both multiple course winners who are dropping in class so should also be considered should market vibes prove positive.

East End Girl was a comfortable winner at Newcastle when last seen, in command close home and looking good value for the official winning distance of half a length. On that basis she should be capable of handling the 3lbs rise and as a result is our selection here.
Whimsy arrives here on a hat-trick following back-to-back victories at Salisbury. The 5lbs rise is offset by Callum Hutchinson’s claim, however she disappointed on only prior run at the course so the bigger danger could be Qoya who finished a couple of lengths behind East End Girl last time out but is now 3lbs better off at the weights so is perhaps entitled to get closer this time around.
