Sacred Bridge was last seen finishing down the field in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot but prior to that had beaten a couple of subsequent winners with a strong staying on performance in a Listed contest at Cork and has also won at Group 3 level. He is two from two over course and distance and brings the best form on offer so all things point to another big run and hopefully another victory.
Ano Syra arrives here on the back of back-to-back victories at The Curragh and although these came over the minimum trip she has also won over course and distance so could prove to be the biggest danger to our selection despite a 6lbs rise for her latest success, while Sablonne also has some solid form at the course and did well to hold on for victory last time out so looks to be the best of the remainder.

Colour Image showed some good battling qualities when winning at Bath last time out and keeps the partnership with Tom Marquand intact today. The form of that victory has been franked with the third (who finished three lengths behind Colour Image) winning next time out and today actually sees a drop in class for Saeed Bin Suroor’s runner so he should prove strong enough to follow up.
The main danger looks to be Rogue Rocket who was a comfortable winner at Salisbury when last seen, beating three rivals with relative ease. This is a tougher race but he looks capable of further progression so should make the race an interesting one.
