TUESDAY RACING TIPS

18:15 Carlisle

Monsieur Kodi may be a little short in the market, but he looks an obvious choice in this six furlong event.

Already a course and distance winner, he was a ready winner at Ayr last time. He has been hit by a seven pound rise for that comfortable success, however he has the perfect draw here in stall 1. He’s taken to go in again.

Of the rest, Golden Duke has been running consistently well, and should again fill a place spot, along with Ruggles making her handicap debut. She open to improvement and could go well at a price.

MONSIEUR KODI (WIN)

18:50 Carlisle

Water Of Leith has been in rude health lately, and holds an obvious chance. There’s no reason to suggest he won’t go very close, but at the prices there maybe some each way value to be had elsewhere.

There are two well handicapped horses running here, firstly Indian Sounds. He has been running well of higher marks, and this stiff five should be right up his street. He’s a massive player.

The other horse is Ginger Jam and he’s also well handicapped, but should be a much juicier price.

His form is a little in and out, but he likes a stiff track and drawn in 2 he could grab a place at decent odds. His mark looks even more attractive when you consider his riders claim.
