TUESDAY RACING TIPS

13:25 Ffos Las

An amateur rider handicap over a mile and three quarters.

At first glance this appears to be a bunch of exposed staying handicappers, with the exception of Our Jester.

Our Jester could be potentially thrown in here off a mark of 75. A two time bumper winner before finishing a creditable seventh in the champion bumper at Cheltenham. His three runs in novice races have been full of promise, particularly his narrow defeat at Bath when beaten a whisker by Savvy Knight who himself went on to finish fourth in the King George V handicap at Royal Ascot off a mark of 90.

The step up in trip and slightly slower ground should be ideal here, and under top class amateur James King, he’s a confident selection.

Of the others Tynwald and Winklevi look the best of the rest, and can follow him home.

OUR JESTER (WIN)

18:40 Chelmsford

A modest mile and a quarter handicap, however there are a couple of unexposed types to concentrate on.

Bazalgette has had eights runs to date, but does look to be progressing. He should be thereabouts with the step up in trip likely to suit.

Fifty Sent is interesting on his pedigree alone. He’s out of a classy mare and has been brought along with handicaps in mind. A strong finishing third last time, he looks dangerous off 67 and is another who will benefit from stepping up in trip.

Easy With Aces is the each way selection. He’s been a slow burner, but there’s no doubt he’s improving race by race. His latest start when a running on third offered plenty to build on and he looks good value to place at least.
