TUESDAY RACING TIPS

15:15 Hamilton

Charles St is a consistent type. He shouldn’t have any issues with the trip, however he keeps creeping up the weights without winning and cheek pieces were applied two starts ago in the attempt to eek out a little improvement without success.

Ravenscraig Castle threatened to be a decent four year old after last season’s solid efforts. It has to be said, he’s been a tad disappointing.

Madame Ambassador could be the one here. She’s had a few starts and run consistently well. Her form has a better look to it once upped in trip on her last two starts. This stiff mile and a half could be the key to success.

MADAME AMBASSADOR (WIN)

Brazen Belle won comfortably last time and will be popular near the head of the market. It is questionable whether she will repeat that effort despite still being feasibly weighted as low grade sprinters are not renowned for being particularly consistent.

Refuge won over course and distance last time and has the able assistance of champion elect William Buick.

Dan De Light is the selection. He’s a two time winner which both came on the artificial surfaces, but has a few solid efforts to his name on the turf. The yard is in good form and in a race full of exposed horses, he’s certainly the most attractively handicapped.
