9 head to post for the British Stallion Studs EBF Star Stakes which is a Fillies Listed race over 7 furlongs where the going is currently Good to Firm.

Inspiral currently heads the market at 2/1 for Frankie Dettori and John Gosden. Rab Havlin rode Inspiral to victory in her first and only career race so far which was a Class 4 at Newmarket. Despite being slowly away, she won comfortably enough and the 2nd and 3rd in that race were then 1st and 2nd when they ran 2 weeks later over the same C&D in a Class 3, so the form looks fairly backed up and strong. This is a Class 1, Listed race, so I'm not sure with the step up in class that 2/1 favourite is quite justified.

Sunstrike for Oisin Murphy and John Gosden was 8th in the Albany Stakes (soft ground, 6 furlongs) at Royal Ascot behind some very good looking horses. The majority of the horses in front of her have gone onto win next time out. She was towards the back of the pack for the majority of the race and stayed on well. The step up in trip and firmer ground could see great improvement in her and she definitely holds potential as we saw in her win at Kempton. She had the beating of Safra that day who she opposes again. Currently 7/1, I think is an attractive price, especially with the form that Oisin Murphy is in at the moment!

I'm hoping that the inform Oisin Murphy is on the better of the two Gosden fillies here and I'll be with Sunstrike.
