We start our day’s previews with a 3-4Yo selling stakes over seven furlongs. This looks to be a wide open affair with a few of these showing some progressive form as of late. Admirable Art won last time out when he forged ahead of the rest of the field in the closing stages to win comfortably, he can run off the same mark again here today and shouldn’t be affected if the going becomes heavy.
The biggest dangers look to come from Cape Of Hope and Emperor Julius; both have been competing in better company than this recently. The latter is dropping down to this lowly level for the first time and it may be what he needs to get his head in front again. The former and my selection seems to do well with a bit of cut in the ground and with the recent weather he may get that here today; he won over course and distance back in August and is back down to that winning mark and can go in again today.

We stay here in Leicester to preview our second race a 3Yo+ Class two handicap.
Suzi’s Connoisseur hasn’t won for over twelve months now since leaving Mark Johnston’s stable ; he showed a glimpse of hope of reproducing that form last time out when finishing third but he’s still going up in the weights without winning and may still be too high in the weights to win this today.
Cordite and Loving Spirit battled it out here last week where the latter just got the better of the former but Cordite who is my selection is better treated in the weights this time around and should be able to reverse that form here today and get his second course and distance win.
Rufford is trying this distance for the very first time and with the booking of Ryan Moore is an interesting one and he may be one to take a note of in the market.

18:00 Wolverhampton
We end our day’s previews with a 3Yo+ handicap. Uncle Bernie comes here today seeking a hat trick which one of these came over course and distance back in August; he’s been raised ten pounds for his latest win and may now be in the handicapper grip.
Saint Thomas has been in very good form on the turf recently and looks that this distance will be more suited to him, he can race off the same mark when he was second at Pontefract last month; his pervious race before that showed he was a good staying horse and that’s why he’s my selection for this today.
Richard Hughes won on Kelamita at the beginning of September but is now ten pounds higher here today and may struggle stepping up to this level especially with the penalty he carries today.
