A small affair here for the opening race of Worcester Friday meet.

Skandiburg is the outsider of the race and you can see why despite his 2nd place last time out in March has a long absence to deal with and usually needed the run after a break. Twig arrives of a back of some good point to point form and hunter chase events. How strong is that form? who knows? Not helped with a ten-pound penalty here.

Arrivederci has decent form against decent opposition over the years. However, Hes usually ran on soft or Heavy. The current course going is good that surely has to be a concern over the last few days?

My selection though is Found On. Who is going for a 4 timer today. I am taking a risk with her today as she does have a long absence to overcome however she has won twice of a 150 plus day break twice. So, providing Shes ready to go should be very competitive here.

FOUND ON (WIN)

16:15 Worcester

Back On The Lash is back over hurdles for the first time in nearly 18 months. Seen over the cross-country course at Cheltenham most of last season. This is surely a prep run with Cheltenham October meeting in mind?

Lord Accord another back over Hurdles who won last time out he was over hurdles. Tough ask being top weight here. Fontana Ellissi will more than likely need the run with a 6-month absence to contend with.

Sure Touch comes into this as market favourite and looking to make it 4 wins on the spin. Those wins were in novice and maiden Company so how strong that form is I'm not sure. Back handicapping on a much tougher mark.

Finisk River has been consistent all summer not finishing outside the top 2 in his last 4 races. Has always ran with plenty of credit over the summer. All his wins have come over left-handed tracks and Worcester being a left-handed track is a positive stat. Doesn't look the most overly strong race with a few returning from a long absence and possibly here for just a prep run for other targets. Along with I'm not sure how the favourite Sure Touch will fare now back handicapping. I feel Finisk River can take advantage of this opportunity presented to him.
