The biggest and most important thing for us here at PFTP is an avid love of racing. I know it probably goes without saying but without that passion for the sport we wouldn't be the place for you.

You also need a solid understanding of horse racing and betting terminology and how to read a race card.

 

Do not fret if you couldn't tell us on the spot who the Grand National winner of 1972 was but we'd want you to have a solid understanding of the current racing world.

​

We also need people who can commit to and stick to very strict deadlines.

​

If you are considering applying yet worry you have little to no writing experience or qualifications please allay your fears. Very few members of the team had any previous writing experience and they've been able to hone their craft here at PFTP thanks to great help, guidance and advice.

Finally we need someone who can follow instructions to the letter and have an eye for detail.

​
