Midnight Jazz ran Vroum Vroum Mag to within a head of victory at Doncaster at the turn of the year and has made the frame in seven from eight over todays’ trip. On this basis she could prove tough to beat, however has a mixed record on return from a break and with the trainer yet to have a winner in thirty-nine attempts at the course I’m going to take her on with Late Night Lily who ran a respectable third behind La Bague Au Roi in a Listed contest at Wetherby in November and races for a stable who rarely leave the course without a winner or two.
Of the remainder, Maria’s Benefit brings the best recent form in to the race having won her last two, although has an extra 10lbs to carry for her efforts.
