Mujassim was a course and distance winner earlier this month and despite being raised 5lbs still has scope for improvement having won off higher marks on turf earlier in his career, while Hammer Gun has won four from five at the course but all victories have come over further than he encounters here today.
Tricky Dicky has two wins and a second from three over course and distance but the second came last time out when finishing behind Mujassim and he has been upped 2lbs for that effort so I’m opting for a tentative each way selection in Bobby Joe Leg who beat a 77-rated runner with relative ease on racecourse debut, coming from off the pace to win by over a length and win going away. Pitched in to handicap company over an extra furlong next time out, he was never on terms and could only manage a mid-field finish but should improve for the experience and the return to six furlongs.
