EXCLUSIVE TIP (TUESDAY)

14:45 SEDGEFIELD

Trainer Donald McCain has been bagging winners left right and centre recently and I’m hoping he can add to his tally in the third race on the card here at Sedgefield. He’s set to saddle Pastoral Music who made his hurdling debut recently when finishing a distant second behind former Champion Bumper winner Silver Concorde. Considering that was the level in which he made his first foray into jumps racing it speaks volumes as to how proficient connections think he is. A decent performer on the flat it’s worth noting that despite being dominated in his previous run he finished way ahead of the rest of the field that day. It’s definitely also note worthy that top Northern jockey Brian Hughes will be doing the steering and this ones chances are significantly improved.

Former winner Brecon Hill deserves a mention having won two of his past three starts and looks a feasible winner, more so than short priced favourite Bar De Rio I feel who continues to be the proverbial bridesmaid.
