EXCLUSIVE TIP (MONDAY)

12:20 PLUMPTON

There’s no doubt the Alan King trained Lisp is the one to beat after a very encouraging second placed finish on racecourse debut but with fourteen runners set to go to post there’s definitely each way value to unearth in this very open looking field.

Course and distance winner Knocknanuss makes a tonne of appeal and deserves his spot vying for favouritism with the aforementioned Lisp but the pair don’t have the biggest of odds so with that in mind I’m siding with Not A Role Model who looks a cracking price at around 25/1. Fourth in a competitive race last time out he should certainly improve on that effort back in October and jockey Adrian Heskin is in a rich vein of form to boot. Trainer Sam Thomas is having one of his most successful seasons as a trainer this term and although a case can be made for several of these he looks a great value bet each way.
