The final race over in Ireland this evening sees fourteen runners line up in this one mile handicap. If the betting is anything to go off the race is likely to be contested between Midnitemudcrabs and Sheisdiesel. That being said after those two runners the remainder of the field seems to all be very competitive and tough to decipher.
There’s seven course and distance winners and we’re siding with one of them. Poetic Choice continues to plummet down the weights after two disappointing runs here at Dundalk. The mare now sits at a handicap mark lower than her last victory. Promising amateur jockey Ben Coen is booked for the ride who takes a hefty ten pounds off the horses back. Despite his limited experience Coen has bagged two winning rides in just ten starts in the last two weeks and clearly has bags of potential. Despite his less advantageous drawn Poetic Choice looks plenty of value as an each way bet.
