    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

17:15 Wolverhampton Another relatively early start to tonights Friday Night Lights as we tackle the third race on the card at Wolverhampton. The horse I’m going with is a horse that caught the eye when finishing sixth last time out when it wasn’t given too much of a hard time by Martin Harley. The jockey rides Major Muscari once again and despite a less than beneficial draw in stall eight it has a good chance. The horse definitely seems to prefer the all-weather with a total

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

16:15 Wolverhampton We open proceedings very early tonight with the first race at Wolverhampton in a contest that can, at best, be described as a very mixed bag. The trip, just short of six furlongs, means that a low draw is a must, which cuts out half of the field. There’s only a couple of course winners and First Rebellion looks a likely threat to my selection. Two placed finishes in its last two outings saw the six year old go close and from a low draw it looks set to do w

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

16:45 Wolverhampton We open tonights action relatively early as our first pick comes in a race prior to “clocking off time” at 5pm. The second race on the card from the midlands course looks mightily open as thirteen runners line up of which nine are previous course winners. My selection lies within those aforementioned nine runners. Of those nine, seven have won over todays trip as well which has helped me narrow the runners down further. The shortest priced one left is

    PADDOCKS PATENT (WEDNESDAY)

13:40 Exeter For this three-mile handicap chase there are only two of the runners that have experience over the larger obstacles. One of them is the likely favourite in Cloudy Copper for Jonjo O’Neill who has booked this season’s leading jockey Richard Johnson to take the ride. This eight-year-old has raced over fences three times and his form figures read 223. He wasn’t the most fluent over those fences when last seen and may find it difficult giving weight to all of his riv

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

18:50 Dundalk We start in Co Louth for a mile handicap and nine runners heading to post. Downforce is the current favourite and will struggle to be beaten here. One of two three year olds in the field was an unlucky loser last time over shorter at the Curragh. Dropped three pounds in the weight here, looks lenient. While she was never going to win that race, she was given an easy race under hands and heels. She still has more potential to improve above this mark. Political P

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

18:35 Dundalk We start our usual Friday slot with an apprentice handicap over one mile. Aye Aye Skipper and Skerray Rules both head the market in an open betting heat. The former has been running well in recent weeks but appears to have very little in hand with his current mark. He won at the Curragh earlier in the year off 52 and while has been hitting the crossbar off his current mark looks held, also his participation would be questionable having ran at Navan on Wednesday.

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

18:10 Wolverhampton Friday Night Lights begins with a six furlongs sprint handicap. Classic Flyer is the clear market leader here and his case is strong. As his course and distance form last month shows he acts on the surface and has won off this mark on Turf. However while at first glance he looks to be a worthy favourite. All his wins have come in class six races at Newcastle. Classic Flyer has a big chance but at the prices he is opposable. Other three year olds Gold Waltz
