    PADDOCKS PATENT (WEDNESDAY)

14:25 Fontwell We start off in a Novices’ Hurdle ran over the extended 2m1f trip. General Ginger and Take A Break both have experience over hurdles and have both been success. Harry Fry trains General Ginger and he has won twice including in good style at Newton Abbot 23 days ago. He sets the standard but for me this could come to one of the jumping newcomers. PADDOCKS PATENT (TUESDAY)

15:30 Lingfield Park We start our day’s previews with a five furlong handicap. The top weight Royal Acquisition won this last year and looks to be the early favourite in this after he stayed on well to take the win in a huge field at Redcar in September but he’s penalised more on the polytrack and didn’t seem to be able to produce  from his current mark when last seen around here. Dark Profit looks very dangerous off his current mark as he won at Chelmsford two months ago off

    PADDOCKS PATENT (MONDAY)

15:20 Windsor Shifting Star may be a veteran these days but he still knows every blade of grass on this track. The ten year old is a previous course and distance winner and he has been placed here on numerous other occasions. He is versatile regarding ground conditions and he remains well handicapped on the best of his old form. Shifting Star has maintained a decent level of form this year and with so many of his rivals out of form coming into this race, he has to be high on

    SATURDAY WEEKENDER

16:55 Ffos Las Course and Distance winner Forever My Friend has won his last two and although is 3lbs higher here his two main rivals Ladfromhighworth and Isthereadifference both look held off their current marks so he should be capable of adding another win to his run. Ciceron has a five month break to overcome and has shown little in two starts since moving yards but has a 42% strike rate for top three finishes over fences so is capable of getting involved if re-discoveri

    PADDOCKS PATENT (WEDNESDAY)

15:15 Wetherby The first of the jumps meetings at Wetherby is where the action gets us underway with a Novices’ Hurdle. Dalia Pour Moi represents the very much in-form Philip Hobbs and Richard Johnson combination. This six-year-old won a point-to-point over at Cregg Racecourse in December. It looks an interesting buy and on paper is best watched with that point-to-point form may not be the strongest compared to some of his rivals here today. Potters Corner was third behind Ba

14:40 Sedgefield Attention Please was upped dramatically in trip when making his seasonal debut at Kelso behind Touch Of Steel. That will have cleared away any cobwebs that were lingering and a return to this sort of trip should see him make a bold bid to finally lose his madden status. His best effort to date came on rain softened ground at Newcastle earlier in the year. Any further deterioration of the ground would certainly be in his favour as he is likely to appreciate a

    PADDOCKS PATENT (WEDNESDAY)

15:35 Nottingham The first selection comes in a nursery where there are only six runners but it looks a fascinating contest. Bathos has won his last four nurseries showing signs of improvement in every run. He now has to defy an 8lb rise and has to give weight to his rivals, which will make things a little tricky. You can’t discount his chances with the form he’s being showing and Joe Fanning is likely to get him out in front in a bid to make all like when fending off eight r
