    PADDOCKS PATENT (TUESDAY)

15:15 Beverley We start our day’s previews with a Class four handicap over nine furlongs. Tin Pan Alley comes here seeking a hat-trick after two good wins over course and distance this month but he’s been raised thirteen pounds overall for both them wins and the step up in class may just be beyond him to gain that hat-trick today. Miss Lucy Jane seems to come good at this time of year; she completed a double over course and distance back in July last year and hasn’t been disg

    TV TIPS (SATURDAY)

14:00 Epsom Derby day is finally here and we start our five Channel Four races with a Class 2 ten furlong handicap. A favourite hasn’t won this race since 2008 but that could change today with the Sir Michael Stoute’s horse Stravagante; he may have finished twelve lengths behind the winner last time out but that was against the Derby entry Jack Hobbs and on that form he looks a strong prospect for this today. Resonant comes here seeking a hat-trick but will have to try and de

    PADDOCKS PATENT (MONDAY)

13:15 Windsor Divine Law was allowed to dictate the pace over this course and distance just a fortnight ago when partnered by Sean Levey. The duo will be hoping that a six pound penalty incurred as a result is not enough to hinder their chances of doing so again. The selection ran well off much higher marks than this on what was his debut season last year and Richard Hannon will be hoping that there is more to come from this son of Major Cadeaux. No Delusion is likely to prov

    SATURDAY WEEKENDER

12:40 Sandown Starting off todays action away from Channel 4 Racing and I opt for a horse in a small runner juvenile hurdle. There’s only five that go to post but it looks pretty competitive none the less. The Alan King yard are hitting a bit of a purple patch at the moment and Pain Au Chocolat is a very worth favourite after winning last time out. That said however it wasn’t the best of races it won and I find the O’Neill horse more interesting. The Saint James makes its

    FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS

19:05 Dundalk We start the day off as we see all of tonight’s selections from The Emerald Isle and take in all-weather action from Dundalk. Our first selection is in Dundalk’s third race on their card. Unfortunately there’s only seven runners but that’s of no great concern as we’re going for one of the shorter priced runners. Edward Lynam has had a great 2014 and enters four year old filly Wishyouwerehere. The horse seems to do well at the track with four out of six runs

    PADDOCKS PATENT (MONDAY)

13:45 Kempton We begin today with a competitive looking field of fourteen for this class five handicap. Woodbridge is the early market leader and arrives after just being touched off in to second when last seen here in November. That was his first run in six months so he should be able to benefit from the recent run but had been disappointing on both previous attempts over todays’ trip, finishing down the field after weakening inside the final furlong or so. 12:40 Plumpton We start our day at Plumpton with a Class 3 Novices chase where likely favourite Chris Pea Green looks to follow up on his recent twenty six length victory over track and trip earlier this month. Prior to this victory he had managed three consecutive seconds and looks sure to be in the mix again today but preference is for Tango De Juilley. Tango De Juilley was an impressive winner at Kempton last month on his chase debut, returning to the track after over eigh

    SUNDAY WEEKENDER

12:50 Kelso We start the day over at Kelso for an intriguing Novice Chase over just shy of three miles. I Need Gold is the market leader and won easily first time up. However given the form of the McCain yard I’m willing to overlook the favourite here. The selection is Oscar Rock who was very disappointing over hurdles despite having a big reputation. The change to fences should bring massive improvement. Jefferson should have him schooled well and Brian Hughes has been r
