WINNER SHOULDN’T BE HARD TO FIND

This is a mediocre race but does feature a decent betting proposition. The aptly named Elusif wasn’t difficult to side with. Despite seemingly going nowhere turning for home at Lingfield last time out he finished really well to claim 5th. This late progress suggests he may be about to hit top form again.

He’s recorded an all-weather hat trick in both 2019 and 2020 but he saves his best performances for Kempton where he has now won 4 times.

He is back down to a very attractive weight and now resides off his last winning handicap mark of 50.

Jockey Martin Dwyer has a strike rate of 30% for the trainer this year and has previously won on Elusif over course and distance.

The trainer has run three at Kempton this year and has a winner a second and a third. Early money for him when prices were first released today is the icing on the cake and he is a confident selection.
