WIN WITH A BANG

15:05 Carlisle

Cool Dandy was a 28/1 winner over course and distance last month, swooping past the re-opposing Russco to take the lead a furlong from home and staying on well under Joe Fanning to record a first career success. That was a marked improvement from all prior runs and her form on faster ground last season wasn't anything to get excited about, however the third from that last race won next time out so there is a little substance to the form and as such Keith Dalgleish's runner needs to be respected.

Fircombe Hall is yet to taste success on turf but was only a neck away from victory at Catterick earlier in the month and his sole AW win came over todays' trip so with Billy Garrity's 3lbs claim a plus it wouldn't be a big surprise to see him get involved here.

Sharrabang is two from two here at Carlisle, winning well in a higher grade last time out, a race that has produced a subsequent winner and a another only denied by a thriving sort. That was his first run since February so despite winning he's still entitled to come on for the run and with stall 1 to attack from he gets the vote to keep his unbeaten record at the course intact.
