Saryshagann benefitted from a tongue-strap when finishing second over course and distance, last time out. He’s in receipt of a bit of weight today and shouldn’t be deterred by the conditions. Additionally, Ryan Mania and Sandy Thomson are going well. However, he’s yet to win over course and distance, in two starts, and over hurdles in seven. Others might well be preferred today.
Rae Des Champs looked impressive in her point-to-point in Ireland and might have needed the run at Ayr, the time after. She was better at Newcastle, when beaten three lengths by a nice prospect of Harry Fry’s. She might well be suited at two miles and makes a quick switch to handicapping. She’s a danger, especially if she can overcome the slightly harsh weight and inexperience.
Blooriedotcom has won over course and distance twice and has placed a further two times. He’s been coming back from a long layoff and has been slowly improving with every run, including staying on into third over course and distance. He’s wearing a tongue-strap for the first time and is in receipt of weight from some of his competitors. He doesn’t deserve to be a bigger price than the aforementioned two.

Noya is well bred and related to two winners. Her yard have a good record with newcomers and she is supported in the market. Moreover, James Doyle is an interesting booking. However, she’s related to a lot of winners over a mile and even further, which means that the seven furlongs today could be slightly fast for her. She’s the pick of the debutants but experience may prevail today.
Makarova represents Ed Walker’s stable, who are in pretty good form lately. She’s improved on her second run at Southwell, when placing third, which leaves her open to improve again. Additionally, she didn’t have the rub of the green, on her debut and as well as that, inexperience cost her. She isn’t discounted but there are a few questions yet to be answered.
Falesia Beach was a promising third on her debut at Lingfield, over seven furlongs. She will have learnt from that day, when she wasn’t brilliant out of the gates. She’s had a couple of months to strengthen up and grow more. Her sire, Twilight Son, has enjoyed an excellent start to his stud career and she evidently has inherited some of that speed. She’s got experience and should build on her debut.
