WEDNESDAY JUMPS RACING TIPS

13:55 Fontwell

Go As You Please won last time out at Warwick has a 3-pound rise for that today. You would expect would be in contention considering he is pretty consistent and rarely has run a bad race in recent times. Whoshotwho hasn't won in 3 years so is a risky betting proposition and can't exactly be trusted if you're backing to win at short price. Creative Inerta has been mainly running in the point-to-point scene and hunter chase series. It's difficult what to expect from him today in this Company. Darebin is a course and distance winner and tries the cheekpieces for the first time but is largely inconsistent. Royal Plaza is my selection for this race a course and distance winner. Was 2nd last time to Go As You Please. I just feel with the return of Cheekpieces could help Royal Plaza and the factor Fontwell isn't a track for every horse and Go As You Please has never run there before is a note of caution. I can see Royal Plaza reversing the form as there wasn't much in it at Warwick last time out ROYAL PLAZA (WIN)

15:05 Fontwell

5 of the 6 runners in this race have won at Fontwell before and return today in this open looking race.

Front runner Goldencard goes into this at the time of writing slight favourite and has the use of Ellis Collier who takes a handy 10 pounds off. Also hasn't ran in class 3 handicap since summer of 2020 been running in class 4 and mainly class 5 recently so that has to be a concern stepping up in class for a long while.

Dorking Lad for Gary Moore whose horses do enjoy it usually round Fontwell and usually has winner when a meeting is on here makes his chase debut today.

Reallyradical going for a hat-trick of wins at Fontwell today makes a lot of appeal when he enjoys this track clearly. Top weight may just get found out today and the fact he likes to be at the front along with Goldencard it may not suit either battling early on at the front.

The Horse I really like who I think seems progressive and have been really impressed with since he has gone over fences is Helford River.

Going for a Hatrick of wins showed a lot of battling qualities when rallying to win at Fontwell on heavy ground. Seems versatile ground wise. Season hasn't really started for the Tizzards yet and they have had to be patient with Helford River who was out for near 800 days until his comeback this year.

Always looked a chaser as it is with a lot of Colin Tizzard horses (1 win in 46 runners in Hurdle Races since May) which would always suggest his horses will be better chasers than hurdlers and this is the case with Helford River. Can't see why Helford River won't follow up or certainly be in contention providing he hasn't returned to soon.
