A total of five go to post in this Class 3 Handicap chase at Wetherby and a few familiar faces return for their season debut. Locks Corner has been seen 4 times this summer jumps season but appears to have gone backwards in his last 3 races. Yccs Portocervo goes in a slight favourite currently after a string of second places. Whether he can get his head in front remains to be seen has won class 4 races but has never won in class 3 company yet as well which is what he is up against today. Road Warrior ended the season with 3 wins on the spin and seems to enjoy front running whether he will get an easy lead and this is a step up in class will remain to be seen. Perhaps a big ask first time out this season. But would be dangerous to rule out Gaelik Coast won a couple of times last season but was or appeared to be outclassed last time out at Aintree in the Red Rum Handicap Chase. This is certainly a lot easier task this time out and has won from a long break previously before. Horse I do fancy today is Whoshotthesheriff i think a lot goes into his favour today Sean Quinlan is riding at a 36% strike rate at the moment so is in reasonable form winning 5 of his last 14 rides Whoshotthesheriff has won fresh before in his hurdle days so I'm not overly concerned by the break as a number of the horses are on their season reappearance. Has won on a variety of grounds so isn't necessarily ground dependant as such. A good chaser on his day I think a lot of positives point to a good run today for Whoshotthesheriff certainly think he is on a good mark to win this type of race which isn't overall that strong.
