15:55 Wolverhampton
Trainer Archie Watson sends just the one runner up to the midlands venue here at Wolverhampton and he won’t be sending three year old Secret Handsheikh here just for the fun of it. The horse has been consistent enough this term but hasn’t claimed success since February. That being said the horses all-weather form looks good with two wins and a place in five starts on an artificial surface, What’s also very interesting is the horse has been competing in either Class 4 or Class 3 company all season and now rocks up in Class 6 company. Another positive is having all-weather maestro Luke Morris booked for the ride and shouldn’t be far away.
Bombastic aims to make it two wins on the bounce after claiming a course victory here last time out but a 7lb rise in weight might make this a tough ask.
At a price course and distance winner Onebaba could sneak into the money if some of the main protagonists falter now back on the all-weather.
