It’s hard to to say Editeur Du Gite has progressed from his seasonal reappearance when finishing behind my selection here and now he faces that rival again on worse terms. Le Ligerien produced a nice chase debut but with him seemingly favouring soft ground these days I’d be worried about the good, good to firm in places he’ll encounter on Friday. Defi Sacre and Est Illic look to high in the handicap. I side with my selection here mainly based on the run last time, which I have followed most of the horses and they’ve won for me, so the form is very strong it was a very deep race. He jumped out to his left that day so changing to a left handed track should suit. Quick ground will be fine, multiple good ground hurdle winner. 3lbs below opening chase mark and was rated much higher than this over hurdles. Looks well handicapped with conditions to suit.
