13:10 Redcar
The Tim Easterby trained Jewel Maker may not have won in his last 19 starts but now tackles a mile for the first time in his career. Would be foolish to discount too readily but I’m siding with the only horse in the field to win over this trip and that’s the eight year old BE BOLD. Trainer Rebecca Bastiman sent out a winner here at Redcar’s last meeting and has her yard going pretty well of late. The veteran will handle the conditions and returns to this trip for the first time since slipping below his last winning handicap mark. A massive price for one with a strong place claim.

The final race on the card sees a former course and distance winner line up who has an incredible record here. One win and four placed finishes in five previous starts over today’s trip at Redcar. INGLEBY HOLLOW has competed both on the flat and over hurdles this season but now finds himself lining up in a Class 6 race for the first time since May 2018 (31 starts since) and he won that day. He now has a very feasible rating and is capable of success with conditions likely to suit.
