TV TIPS (SUNDAY)

15:35 Newmarket - 1,000 Guineas

Unfortunately Pinatubo couldn't hold on to his unbeaten record but can another unbeaten Guineas favourite pick up where the colt left off? This time in the form of Quadrilateral. A worthy favourite who's barely put a foot wrong but to me this looks a far more competitive race than the 2,000 was yesterday. With that in mind value has to be the order of the day and a hunt for a horse who could pose a threat at a big price seems the obvious way to go.

The more than capable Mickael Barzalona climbs aboard Raffle Prize who has decent course form after finishing second behind Millisle last time out. She was a very talented two year old who mixed it at the top level last year. If she's trained on then a place is more than within her reach especially for a yard who are on fire at the moment.

Fellow stable mate Rose Of Kildare may have enough to cause a shock at a big price. As mentioned Johnston has his horses in blistering form and with a course win already to her name. She's been heavily tried as a youngster so may not have much improvement compared to today's rivals however a chance is taken on a horse that looks very overpriced.

It's interesting that Ballydoyle only have the one entry and for that reason alone any market support for Love should be taken seriously.
