VALUE THEORY was well supported in the Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket last time out and wasn't far behind in third that day. She's had a more thorough campaign than most of her rivals here. That being said unlike the current favourite Hello You she's been very consistent and at a decent price looks a solid each way bet.
Of the remainder former course and distance winner Wilderness Girl looks to be on the up and the only horse in the field with a 100% record Mise En Scene may also finish in the frame as could the Frankie Dettori ridden Tinderbox.

Barn Owl has been a solid level of consistency this season however that's been at a lower level and although it wont be a drastic jump against this level he looks too short in the betting and despite a ten month layoff TITIAN gets my vote. William Haggas has his horses flying at the moment and if he has his three year old fit looks to thrive up at this ten furlong trip.
TITIAN (WIN)

This contest looks to ask the question whether or not you side with experience or you side with youthful potential. The short priced favourite Arartus has done very little wrong in winning three of his four career starts and seems to be on a steep upward curve however this will be by far his toughest test to date. That's not to say he wont add another victory in the book but at such short odds it's advisable to look elsewhere.
There's a quartet of former course and distance winners in the lineup and of the four runners PERSUASION looks worth following. Charlie Hills' four year old has been handled with kid gloves this season having only raced twice this term. He was very poor at Ascot last time out but he looks worth another crack in a smaller runner field and if he returns to his best can play a part.

The sole race from "Flat HQ" looks a very competitive listed sprint over six furlongs. The two Shadwell Estate owned competitors look to have lively chances but I'm siding with a horse who has a fantastic course record. SUMMERGHAND has raced here at Newmarket (both July Course and Rowley Mile) a total of seven times and he has only ever finished outside of the top two on one occassion. He's a former Group 3 winner who can compete at this level and looks a great each way bet.

The third of four races from Goodwood shown on ITV this Saturday sees three fromer course victors in the lineup in this Group 3 contest. Of the aformentioned trio it looks to be a close thing between Classic Lord and NAGANO. Andrew Balding's runner has been consistent this year but Roger Varian's charge looks a touch classier and it'd be a shock if he didn't make a serious challenge especially up at this trip.
NAGANO (WIN)

Unbeaten in three starts at Beverley Show Yourself aims to maintain her unbeaten course record but this is a massive step up in class. However at big odds punters looking for an outsider with a sneaky chance it'd be foolish to ignore James Tate's horse. That being said stablemate WISE WORDS has been knocking on the door of a big victory and can cause a possible upset and is worth following despite the likes of Judicial and Dakota Gold alredy being there and doing it before.

On paper Benbatl is by far the best horse in this years Group 2 contest however with an eleven month absence to contend with there's a couple of questions the seven year old has to answer. With that in mind I'd rather back a horse who's got fitness on his side.
Both Chindit and Mutasaabeq look the best of the younger horses however previous course winner STORMY ANTARCTIC looks an outsider worth backing. It's interesting to see Frankie Dettori ride for a yard he's only ever ridden for five times previously. Frankie has a decent record with Ed Walker's horses and this veteran seems to love it here at Goodwoow with a win and a place in three course starts. He may have been a tad disaapointing last time but that was after a 77 day lay off so should strip fitter this time and has already won this season and could find himself in the mix here.
