A three year old who looks as if handicaps are way beneath them already is William Haggas' Dhushan. A convincing winner at both Musselburgh and here at Haydock in his last two starts. He's shown signs of greeness despite winning but he's lightly raced and still has plenty of room to improve still. Should be able to handle this level of opposition before moving on to bigger and better things.

Former course and distance victors Montatham and Trais Fluors demand a degree of respect based on what they've done at this venue before and look likely to finish in the mix once again however at a price I find myself siding with one of the two Mark Johnston trained runners.
Marie's Diamond returns to handicap company for the first time in 14 starts after competing at a much higher level these past two years. A drop to this standard I'm hoping should spark some improvement for a horse who showed he was more than capable when 3rd in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot last year. Now on a decent handicap mark I'm hoping the five year old horse can return to winning ways, especially at a rather generous price.

Statement has placed in two Group contests this year and dropping down in to Listed company I'm hoping will be what she needs to return to the winners enclosure. She's competed at a much higher level than most of her rivals here and I expect that her class should shine through and be the telling factor.
Of the remainder Lucid Dreamer looks potentially overpriced and could go well for punters looking to find an each way bet.
